Maximum Anticipated Surface Pressure (MASP)
The highest pressure predicted to be encountered at the surface of the well. In a “worst case” condition, this pressure prediction is based upon formation pressure minus a wellbore filled with dry gas. It is used to determine casing design and BOP equipment working pressure requirements.
