Completion
Activities that prepare a well for the initial production of oil and gas; the process of establishing a flow path for hydrocarbons between the reservoir and the surface. Examples of completions include openhole, cased-hole perforated, single-string, dual-string, and gravel-packed completions, or other processes, such as injection.
