Well Control Engineers offer crucial expertise and engineering support during critical well operations. They are available to work either from the office or on-site as part of the drilling team.

Their role involves reviewing daily drilling reports (DDR) to assess various well control parameters, such as kick tolerance, Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Equivalent Circulating Density, gas readings, hole behavior, connection and trip behavior, and more. By analyzing these parameters, Well Control Engineers can detect developing trends and take proactive measures to address pressure management and well control issues.
