WellCONTAINED™ – Third Stack-up Exercise A Success
The third stack-up exercise of the WellCONTAINED subsea stack in Singapore, performed in March 2017, continued the Wild Well tradition of efficiency in action with an even greater response time and completion rate
The Singapore stack is part of a global coverage offering of dedicated subsea containment solutions for Wild Well customers in the event of a catastrophic, deepwater well control incident. The subsea stack located in Aberdeen comes with the same legendary Wild Well service.
The Wild Well WellCONTAINED™ system offers
- A detailed, well-specific response plan
- A rapid response by experienced personnel
- A robust, ready-to-deploy system
- A proven solution executed with the use of an efficient, in-house team
Along with strategically located subsea capping stack systems in Aberdeen and Singapore, members receive access to source control emergency response planning from Wild Well, the worldwide leader in well control with more than 40 years of experience. Drills and exercises are included with capping stack installation and shut-in plans for each member.
The Wild Well WellCONTAINED subsea containment system also offers the following range of services from our world-class engineering teams:
- Relief well planning
- Dynamic kill modeling and analysis
- Well control kick modeling
- Subsea and atmospheric plume dispersion modeling and analysis
As part of Wild Well's dedication to engineering excellence, the Advanced Engineering group uses state-of-the-art analysis techniques, such as finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics, to deliver the best possible results for the most pressing deepwater issues.
With the Wild Well WellCONTAINED subsea containment system, members can operate with the confidence of complete coverage in the event of a deepwater well control incident.
