Shriners Hospitals for Children - Successful Golf Blowout Tournament

Golf Blowout Celebrates 20 Years

20 Years and $1.7 Million Raised for Shriners Hospitals for Children

We had another successful year and a great turnout for the 20th Annual Wild Well Golf Blowout at the Clubs of Kingwood golf courses. Our grand total for Shriners Hospitals for Children now stands at more than $1.7 million for our first 20 years of the tournament!

The rain held off until we were all inside after golfers and volunteers braved the heat and humidity for this charitable cause. As it is every year, the success of the Golf Blowout would not have been possible without the contributions and participation of the tournament's valuable major sponsors:

Thank you also to the following cookers and course sponsors:

And many thanks to Shriners Hospitals for Children and the patient ambassadors for their donations of time, materials, and heart-felt prizes that will be cherished for years to come.

Last but not least, thank you to all of the volunteers from across the industry whose dedication and hard work are an essential part of the event's success.

The Wild Well Golf Blowout began in 1997 with a vision from company founder Joe Bowden, Sr., who wanted to provide Shriners Hospitals with financial assistance that would continue to allow them to operate as a research and care-of-life facility for children affected by congenital diseases and injury-based disabilities.

Today, the golf blowout is the largest golf tournament charity event held for Shriners Hospitals. Next September we begin the next 20 years with the 21st Annual Wild Well Golf Blowout!
