High-Tech Classrooms Operational
The installation of new high-tech equipment in the classroom at the Wild Well headquarters in Houston, TX carries on the Wild Well tradition of providing state-of-the-art student interaction in well control training.
The new Promethean ActivBoard 500 Pro, spanning more than 7 ft, offers a touchscreen interface that can be used to create an engaging, interactive learning experience and stunning visuals to provide training unparalleled in the industry.
In addition, high-definition LCD screens adjoining each side of the Promethean board provide an additional 13+ feet of monitor space at the front of the classroom. Among other things, the monitors are used to review student exercises completed in our well control simulator room.
Slated for later this year, the Houston classroom will also gain additional Promethean boards along the side walls, enhancing student collaboration and allowing students to work simultaneously in teams on joint projects.
Soon, other WWC permanent training locations, including Casper, Oklahoma City, and Aberdeen, will receive high-tech equipment to improve our well control training and facilitate student engagement.
